simple recipe of desi-style Chicken Burger/chicken Burger



Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken (chicken keema)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon of garam masala
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for toppings
  • Chutney or sauce of your choice

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground Chicken/keema, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, garam masala, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
  3. Heat a large non-stick pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and fully cooked.
  4. Toast the hamburger buns on a separate pan or in the oven.
  5. To assemble the burgers, place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and onion slices, and top with a dollop of chutney or sauce.
  6. Serve the desi burgers hot and enjoy!

Note: You can also add other toppings of your choice, such as cheese or sliced pickles.
