Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground chicken (chicken keema)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of ginger, grated
- 1 teaspoon of cumin powder
- 1 teaspoon of coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon of garam masala
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and onion slices for toppings
- Chutney or sauce of your choice
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground Chicken/keema, onion, garlic, ginger, cumin, coriander, garam masala, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each into a patty.
- Heat a large non-stick pan or griddle over medium-high heat. Add the patties to the pan and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until browned and fully cooked.
- Toast the hamburger buns on a separate pan or in the oven.
- To assemble the burgers, place a cooked patty on the bottom half of each bun. Add lettuce, tomato, and onion slices, and top with a dollop of chutney or sauce.
- Serve the desi burgers hot and enjoy!
Note: You can also add other toppings of your choice, such as cheese or sliced pickles.
